IT Support Engineer

Pediatrics Plus is hiring an IT Support Engineer in Conway, AR for onsite support. In this role, you will help keep technology reliable for the team, delivering hands-on assistance across locations and troubleshooting issues quickly whether they show up during proactive visits or day-to-day needs. The position includes regular travel within about a two-hour driving radius and offers competitive pay plus paid time off and medical, dental, and vision insurance.

What you’ll do

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and support hardware, software, and technology systems across the company.
• Provide experienced technical support to team members remotely and onsite at Pediatrics Plus locations.
• Travel regularly to locations to deliver both reactive support and proactive maintenance, helping ensure systems operate effectively.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and peripheral issues and assist with equipment deployment and replacement.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft applications, operating systems, remote access, and other business applications.
• Manage users, passwords, permissions, and basic configurations in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot common network and connectivity issues, including wireless and printer troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex server, network, security, and infrastructure issues to the appropriate IT team member.
• Track and prioritize tickets in the ticketing system, resolve issues independently within scope, and recognize when escalation is needed.
• Assist senior IT staff and outside providers with system maintenance and technology projects.
• Document work performed, equipment changes, unresolved issues, and maintain accurate documentation and technology inventory.
• Support onboarding and offboarding by assisting with new team member technology setup and team member offboarding.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements; communicate effectively with leadership, teams, and contractors.
• Uphold the core values, mission, and philosophy of Pediatrics Plus in all responsibilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT support experience (preferred) and strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently resolve common hardware, software, user account, and connectivity issues.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and server environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize work.
• Ability to maintain an independently managed schedule that includes planned visits and unplanned/reactive support.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical team members.
• Ability to document issues and solutions clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, complete tasks in a timely manner, and maintain regular punctual attendance.
• Travel required. Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
