Job Description

This senior role focuses on mission planning software development for missile systems, combining cross-platform C++ modules with C# interfaces, deployed onsite at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements analysis to guide software development efforts.
  • Design and develop C# and C++ components within the Microsoft Visual Studio environment.
  • Create and execute software component test cases, procedures, and drivers.
  • Integrate developed components with subcontractor-created modules.
  • Develop and maintain user interface software applications and web-based applications.
  • Candidate will have formal training in C/C++, prior GUI development experience, and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Coordinate integration with sub-contractor components written in C++.
  • Some CONUS travel may be required to support customers, users, and integration events.

Requirements

  • Experience in .NET and C# development.
  • Strong background in C++ development.
  • Solid software architecture knowledge.
  • Experience designing and implementing algorithms.
  • GitLab CI/CD experience.
  • Visual Studio environment experience with the .NET Framework.
  • Interim Secret Clearance to begin employment; U.S. citizenship is required.
