Job Description
The City of Sailsbury, NC seeks a Senior Engineer to lead Land and Development Services. This on-site role requires licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) and a relevant degree, with experience in development or municipal engineering and design.

Salary
USD 76,260.11 - 109,051.97 per year
Requirements
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and substantial experience in development or municipal engineering and design, along with professional licensure and an active North Carolina driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, engineering, construction, project management, or related field
- Considerable experience in development or municipal engineering and design
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license

Interdepartmental collaboration and clear communication are valued, along with effective time management to meet project timelines.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and departments
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, developers, contractors, and the general public
- Skilled in time management
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Certification
