Lead Engineer

Rocateq is seeking a Lead Engineer to head the installation and service of its Checkout Security system. The role blends hands-on field work with technical leadership, guiding engineers, training staff, and delivering installations that meet quality and safety standards while driving team growth. Based onsite in Allentown, PA, this full-time position involves extensive travel to customer sites to ensure successful deployments and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Checkout Security systems encompassing wireless transmitters, internet connectivity, wireless signal tuning, dashboard and CCTV connections
• Create ‘As Built’ drawings
• Train and coach new and existing engineers on Rocateq best practices and standards to ensure uniformity across all installations and services
• Manage Rocateq’s adherence to industry and technical standards ensuring compliance and safety
• Monitor project progress and make data-driven decisions to optimize efficiencies and processes
• Stay current with technological advancements and incorporate relevant innovations into engineering processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies
• Engineering experience: 1 year (minimum)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of radio transmission systems, IOT, WiFi
• Valid Driver's License (Required)

Language

Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams, read and interpret technical documentation, and prepare clear, accurate written reports.

Travel

100% travel is required.

Compensation

Salary: USD 75,000 - 125,000 per year
