Job Description

SEAGA MANUFACTURING INC is hiring a Software Engineer in River Falls, WI (onsite) to support automated retail solutions, including intelligent kiosks, payment technologies, and integrated hardware systems. The role includes building and maintaining software platforms and financial services applications using microservices and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications and technology platforms that support the company’s automated retail solutions, including intelligent kiosks, payment technologies, and integrated hardware systems.
  • Evaluate business and customer requirements to create software solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to improve existing applications and strengthen software architecture and development processes for payment transaction processing systems.
  • Assess user needs and software requirements to determine software design feasibility within business and technical constraints, working with engineering teams to integrate hardware and software systems and to define technical specifications and performance requirements for payment transaction processing systems.
  • Design, code, and test financial services applications using a microservices architecture with Spring Boot based services.
  • Develop, maintain, and support APIs and integrations with internal systems, third-party applications, hardware devices, and payment technologies, including troubleshooting software defects, integration issues, and production support incidents.
  • Carry out software deployment, system configuration, testing, and performance optimization, including onsite integration of kiosks, payment devices, and related peripherals to support reliable and efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer.
  • Experience designing and coding applications in the financial services domain using microservices architecture and Spring Boot based services.
