Responsibilities

• Consult with the public to determine lighting requirements in line with company standards and requirements.
• Perform on-site surveys to assess lighting needs for residential, commercial, and subdivision projects.
• Identify and verify existing utility infrastructure as part of planning.
• Develop and design outdoor lighting schemes that meet customer requirements while adhering to standard guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, field crews, and partner agencies.
• Balance fieldwork with office design tasks on a variable schedule.
• Manage scheduling to maintain steady progress across tasks.
• Walk substantial distances and transport equipment; stake poles and flag routes on site as needed.
• Display strong problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and implement resolutions.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Pole foreman experience: 1 year (Required)
• Power Distribution experience: 1 year (Required)
• BOUD experience: 1 year (Required)
