Mobile Development Software Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the development of systems, sites, and tools for client projects
- Write, test, and refine code to meet the team’s goals
- Develop and reverse engineer software that enables hardware functionality across a broad device set
- Configure solutions tailored to the platform in use
- Collaborate with team leadership to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Work with cybersecurity specialists to ensure the software remains secure
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, testing, and deploying mobile applications for iOS or Android
- Experience guiding architecture decisions for new mobile app products and modernizing existing apps, including native app structure, dependency management, mobile testing, API integration patterns, offline data synchronization, authentication and security, mobile CI/CD pipelines, and app observability/analytics
- Experience managing mobile release pipelines for Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs, cloud services, and third‑party platforms
- Track record of building scalable, user‑focused applications with attention to performance, usability, and maintainability
- Experience working with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver production‑ready software
- Ability to build and maintain native iOS apps using Swift or Objective‑C, or Android apps using Kotlin or Java
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination as required by the client
- High school diploma or GED
