PCB Layout Design Engineer (Cadence Allegro)

Denken Solutions, Inc. is seeking a PCB Layout Design Engineer specializing in Cadence Allegro to develop high-end enterprise SSD PCBs, including rigid and rigid-flex configurations. The role involves close collaboration with mechanical, SI/PI, thermal, and TCT teams, delivering designs from schematic netlists through to fabrication-ready ODB++ and Gerber files. This onsite position is based in Irvine, CA, with a compensation range of USD 60 to 65 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise SSD PCB layouts, including rigid and rigid-flex configurations.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering, SI/PI, thermal, and TCT specialists.
• Coordinate with global teams in India, Malaysia, Israel, and Korea.
• Deliver complete PCB designs from schematic netlists to production-ready ODB++ and Gerber files.
• Liaise with overseas vendors to resolve DFM and fabrication questions.
• Explore and propose advanced design methodologies related to materials, processes, and tools.
• Apply flexible and creative approaches to packaging and routing challenges.
• Act as a proactive team member alongside other advanced engineers.
• Demonstrate Cadence Allegro PCB Layout proficiency with at least five years of hands-on experience.
• Manage routing constraints for DDR, PCIE, and NAND bus architectures.
• Work with various microvia configurations, including blind and through-hole vias.
• Experience with System Capture and EDM library is a plus.

• Minimum of five years of PCB layout experience.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork skills.
