Job Description

The role involves delivering electrical engineering services, guiding projects, and supervising team members to meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and timelines, on site in Missouri.

Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical engineering services that align with Worley, client needs, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Initiate, manage, and, when necessary, supervise electrical engineering project requirements.
  • Attend relevant meetings, generate progress reports, and adhere to established verification procedures.
  • Ensure the project scope is clearly defined and any changes comply with the project change management process.
  • Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities by offering guidance, including writing requisitions, performing technical bid evaluations, and issuing purchase orders.
  • Act as the electrical engineering lead on designated projects when required.
  • Define project requirements, promote workshare where appropriate, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
  • Ensure services meet Worley, client, and regulatory requirements, delivered on time and within budget.
  • Proactively resolve discrepancies between Worley and client requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments and innovations in electrical engineering.
  • Provide assistance and mentorship to junior personnel within the electrical engineering team when required.
  • Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including clients.
  • Identify issues, develop suitable solutions, and seek assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in the electrical engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in a project leadership role.
  • Experience estimating project costs and drafting proposal content.
  • Strong technical and practical engineering skills with a track record of delivering quality, accurate, and timely work for Worley and its clients.
  • Solid understanding of the fundamentals of electrical engineering and awareness of core requirements of related engineering fields.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Competent use of electrical engineering software.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity tools.
  • Extensive technical and practical electrical engineering experience in the same or a similar industry, including work on multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
  • A 4- to 5-year Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification in the United States is required.
