Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete electrical design process for designated projects from concept through closeout, including engineering and specifications.
• Develop precise schematic designs for complex prospective projects within tight timelines.
• Organize and lead the engineering effort across all phases of design and construction to keep projects on track.
• Guide and supervise designers and engineers assigned to project teams.
• Review and revise calculations, drawings, and specifications as needed to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet schedule milestones and manage budgets.
• Conduct site surveys, field investigations, and equipment assessments.
• Provide engineering support during construction and assist with project execution as required.
• Monitor project scope, engineering budgets, and construction budgets to maintain alignment.
• Communicate scope, budget, or schedule changes to leadership in a timely manner.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining drafting, design, and engineering standards.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Location

Middleburg Heights, OH. This role is open to candidates within a 2-3 hour radius of Cleveland, OH, including Toledo, Dayton, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and surrounding areas.

Travel

Up to 25% travel for worksite visits. Remote candidates must work on-site at BG Headquarters in Middleburg Heights, OH, at least once per week.
