Responsibilities
- Lead and drive existing product improvements and new product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership and the Product Development team (including international partners) to spearhead new engineering projects.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of product development from concept through launch and commercialization.
- Provide engineering support for both new and existing products, addressing issues as they arise, and collaborate with Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Marketing.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis on complex technical challenges.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting data in clear, understandable, and visually appealing formats.
- Focus on design and support for Infrared Saunas, Red Light Products, and Cold Plunge Chillers.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of Electrical Engineering work experience.
- 1 year of experience in the manufacturing of health and wellness equipment or a similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience using circuit simulation and PCB design software (PSpice and Altium preferred).
- 3+ years embedded programming experience (C/C++). ESP32 and PIC familiarity preferred.
- PCB thermal analysis, airflow analysis, and high ambient temperature circuit design.
- Rapid prototyping, 3D printing, soldering.
- ECAD tool proficiency.
- Familiar with multimeter, oscilloscope, low voltage DC and mains voltage supply use.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and their integration into mechanical designs.
- Knowledge of product development processes, including prototyping and testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
