Senior Marketing Software Engineer
Job Description
The Senior Marketing Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain marketing technology, attribution systems, and CRM integrations to drive lead generation, conversion tracking, and revenue insights for Five Star Tax Resolution.
Responsibilities
- Connect major advertising platforms including Meta CAPI, Google Offline Conversions, TikTok Events API, and DSPs to the CRM and internal systems
- Develop event pipelines for conversions, revenue signals, and lead scoring
- Maintain UTMs, attribution rules, and the overall tracking infrastructure
- Implement server-side tracking and conversion APIs
- Link SEO, SEM, and paid social tools with analytics and revenue data
- Strengthen data integrity and attribution across platforms
- Design closed‑loop attribution and feedback mechanisms within marketing platforms
- Create dashboards mapping spend to leads, revenue, profit, and lifetime value
- Develop contribution-based ROI models across channels
- Maintain data cleanliness across CRM and analytics tools
- Collaborate on cohort analyses and performance insights
- Support media buying with statistical and business context
- Automate reporting, dashboards, and weekly analysis workflows
- Transform call transcripts into summaries and CRM‑ready structured data
- Automate outbound nurture and follow-up sequences
- Leverage predictive signals and machine learning for lead quality and LTV forecasting
Requirements
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Familiarity with Cloudflare tools
- Cloud or server infrastructure experience (GCP, AWS, or similar)
- Version control experience (Git) and deployment fundamentals
- Proficiency with programming languages; CSS and Tailwind CSS are preferred
- Experience in high-ticket lead generation environments (finance, legal, tax, etc.)
- Ability to build workflows for lead routing, lead scoring, and enrichment
- Validate, reject, or categorize leads based on defined rules
- Ensure CRM data consistency for forecasting and revenue reporting
- Code lightweight tools, internal apps, and automation scripts
- Work with webhooks, REST APIs, and data pipelines
- Perform root cause analysis on tracking breaks and lead flow issues
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Experience in full-stack development; CSS/Tailwind CSS is preferred but not required
- Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and authentication
- Familiarity with ad platform APIs (Meta, Google, TikTok, DSPs)
- Experience in marketing agencies or hands-on marketing projects
- Paid acquisition performance knowledge (SEM, Paid Social, DSP)
- Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and server-side events
- Understanding of attribution models (last touch, multi-touch, MMM, incrementality)
- Knowledge of online funnel architecture (landing page to form to CRM to sales)
- Experience with lead generation and appointment-setting funnels
- Awareness of AI and automation trends (2025–2026 expectations)
- Experience with LLM agent workflows (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
- Prompt engineering and structured output design
- Workflow orchestration and chaining
- Experience with call tracking systems (CallRail, Invoca, Twilio, Nextiva)
- Experience with co-branded partnership attribution

Compensation
Annual salary: USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year.
Location
Costa Mesa, California, onsite (in person).
