Software Engineer

Software Engineer opportunity on Kry’s Clinician Availability and Scheduling team building clinician booking and scheduling capabilities across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on core services for clinician schedules, slot availability, and patient bookings
• Address practical scheduling challenges including patient-to-clinician matching, capacity balancing, and rebooking flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across design, product management, clinical operations, and data analysis to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Develop and optimize client-side and server-side features with a focus on smooth user experience and clean APIs
• Contribute to code reviews, write comprehensive tests, and improve software quality through continuous iteration
• Support infrastructure setup and deployment pipelines using AWS, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
• Work within an agile, lightweight Scrum approach centered on continuous improvement of how the team works

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and React ( Kotlin is a bonus)
• Use AI tools such as coding assistants and agents as a normal part of building, reviewing, and shipping software
• Strong understanding of developing cloud-based applications with AWS and Terraform
• Experience building backend services and APIs, ideally within distributed or multi-market environments
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable with a variety of languages and frameworks and able to ramp up quickly on new ones
• Confident using English in written and verbal communication

• Join the Clinician Availability and Scheduling team to help patients book the right care at the right time
• Build scheduling, availability, and booking capabilities connecting patients with clinicians across Sweden, Norway, France, and the UK
