Software Engineer- GUI Development

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software solutions for High Energy Laser systems.
• Perform software analysis, testing, and verification activities.
• Support requirements development and validation efforts.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams.
• Contribute to software lifecycle processes and engineering best practices.
• Assist with integration and troubleshooting of hardware and software components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; no professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Demonstrated experience writing C/C++ code.
• Experience creating GUIs in C# and Java or Python.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizen.

Compensation

Annual base salary ranges from USD 76,500 to 134,895. This role is eligible for an incentive plan.

Work arrangement and schedule

The role offers a hybrid work model with part-time remote telework. You will split time between a Lockheed Martin facility and remote work, with the schedule of 4x10 hour days and three days off per week. Relocation could be possible to support your transition.

Washington state benefits details

WA state applicants accrue: PTO at a minimum of 10 hours per month, holidays totaling at least 90 hours, vacation accrual of 6.67 hours per month, and up to 52 hours of sick leave per year, with at least 96 holiday hours. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
