Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of software development from conception through deployment and ongoing support
• Design, implement, and debug applications using React, Spring Boot with Java, SQL, and Terraform
• Conduct software and requirements analysis, perform code reviews, track metrics, assess system risk, and analyze software reliability
• Apply Object-Oriented Design and Analysis (OOA/OOD) and modeling techniques
• Model and simulate software behavior as needed
• Develop front end graphical user interfaces with a focus on usability
• Perform software testing and quality assurance to ensure robust releases
• Tune performance, improve usability, and automate processes where possible
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Integrate new software with existing systems and workflows
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for potential adoption
• Maintain adherence to coding and design standards
• Implement localization or globalization of software as required

Requirements

• Experience in application development as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency with AWS, Lambda, and Terraform
• Strong Java programming skills
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• RESTful API design experience
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline
