Software Engineer Staff - Level 4 (Top Secret)
Job Description
This onsite role in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania places a Staff Software Engineer, Level 4 on a Lockheed Martin Space Agile Scrum team. The position involves developing and deploying software for a complex space system to support mission capability under TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Generate and simulate operational level plans to explore feasible approaches for defending space assets in future operations
- Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
- Strategically optimize the deployment and maneuvering of satellite constellations to address evolving priorities
- Rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system in line with core engineering practices
- Ensure delivery of fully functioning mission capability to end users in a secure and continuous manner
Requirements
- Experience developing software in Java, C++, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/configuration tools (GitLab, ArgoCD)
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have a current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Position located at a facility that requires special access
