Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, verify, and validate a complex 6-degree-of-freedom missile flight simulator
  • Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control algorithms
  • Tune and assess system stability to ensure robust performance
  • Create software tools for analyzing GN&C performance
  • Assess system performance against mission requirements
  • Analyze GN&C system accuracy for flight tests and perform root cause error analysis

Requirements

  • 14 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 12 years with a master’s, or 10 years with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
  • U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period as determined by the company
  • 10+ years of experience in guidance, navigation, or control algorithm development and/or analysis for launch vehicles, missiles, spacecraft, and/or aircraft
  • 8+ years of experience with high-level programming languages (MATLAB, C++) and object-oriented design
  • 8+ years of experience working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, team-based environment
