Structural Engineer

AEC Resources is hiring a Structural Engineer to support structural design and analysis work across multiple building sectors. Based in Minnetonka, MN, this hybrid role also offers fully remote options, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, project management, and coordination across assigned projects.

The position focuses on leading structural design efforts while managing project delivery components such as resource allocation and select client communications. Projects include a range of facility types such as commercial, multifamily housing, civic, and educational environments, supporting engineers who want variety in structural engineering scope and industry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related graduate degree
• Engineer in Training (EIT) status or Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis with buildings
• Skills in structural analysis software
• Familiarity with industry standards

Compensation and work model: USD 108,000 - 145,000 per yearly with options to work fully remote or from the Twin Cities office while serving projects across healthcare, housing, retail, education, manufacturing, and more.
