UI / Mission Planning Software Engineer, Staff / C++
Job Description
Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control division is seeking a Staff UI / Mission Planning Software Engineer to help build cross-platform C++ modules with public C# interfaces for mission planning tools. This onsite role in Orlando, FL requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain Secret clearance, with collaboration across internal teams and subcontractor components to deliver robust UI and mission planning software. The position focuses on developing cross‑platform components and integrating them into larger mission planning applications used in a government-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis
- Designing and developing C# and C++ software components in MS Visual Studio
- Development of software component test cases, procedures and drivers
- Integration of developed components with associate contractor developed components
- Developing and maintaining UI software applications and/or Web-based applications
- Training in C/C++, GUI development experience, and Linux OS familiarity
- Integrating with sub-contractor developed components in C++
- CONUS travel may be required to support customer, user, and integration events
Requirements
- Experience with .NET/C# development
- Strong experience developing in C++
- Strong software architecture knowledge
- Experience developing and implementing algorithms
- GitLab CI/CD
- Visual Studio environment experience with .NET Framework
- Interim Secret Clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain Secret clearance, must be a U.S. citizen
