Job Description
Arrivia, Inc. offers an onsite opportunity in Scottsdale, Arizona for a product-minded full-stack engineer to help build and ship features on our travel platform. You will work on a collaborative product team, delivering value end to end while leveraging AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery with moderate autonomy.

Responsibilities
- Ship features for the travel platform on a full‑stack product team, turning ideas into practical, customer‑facing functionality.
- Work with AI coding agents—Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot—to speed delivery while maintaining code quality.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before merging.
- Refactor and modernize existing services using cloud‑native design patterns to improve reliability and scalability.
- Write clean, testable, well‑optimized code, whether authored by hand or aided by AI tools, with peer review in mind.
- Support the platform’s development and operations within a distributed architecture.
- Advocate for quality and durability by addressing technical debt alongside Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Product Designers.
- Protect member privacy and security in collaboration with Risk and Security teams.
- Contribute to backend and system level reliability goals as part of the engineering team.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of full‑stack experience building web applications and services.
- 1+ year hands‑on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in professional workflows.
- Proficiency in two or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
- Solid grounding in RESTful API design and microservices patterns.
- Experience building and deploying applications on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with prompt engineering for code generation and awareness of the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- A strong curiosity about emerging AI tools and a drive to stay current with the agentic coding landscape.
- A formal CS degree is a plus, not a requirement; practical ability to build is what matters.
