Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking an Applications and Integration Engineer for an on-site role in Buffalo, NY. You will help elevate the firm’s business applications and third-party systems, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to install, configure, and support software solutions, address day-to-day operations, and enable workflow automation. The position carries a salary range of $69,740 to $85,555 per year, along with a solid benefits package and a culture that supports learning and growth.

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to install, configure, and support commercial software solutions, primarily within the legal industry.
• Develop, support, and maintain custom ASP.NET web applications and C# console applications.
• Administer and support the Firm Intranet using Microsoft SharePoint Online.
• Design and maintain data integrations using Boomi and Intapp Integration Builder for data exchange between third-party systems and custom Firm platforms.
• Partner with internal stakeholders defining and creating workflow automation using Intapp Open.
• Develop and maintain reports using SSRS and Power BI to support business operations and data-driven decision-making.
• Implement alerting and monitoring to support workflows, track critical business data, and enhance operational awareness.
• Embrace ongoing change as the Firm transitions to SaaS platforms, with a focus on learning and developing skills across new technologies.
• Experience with integration and workflow automation platforms is required; experience with Boomi, Intapp Integration Builder, and Intapp Open is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to interface frequently with users at all levels and with IT colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information management systems.
• Three years of experience in applications development or a closely related role.
