Electrical Engineer
Job Description
RS&H is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to own electrical designs, lead projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to the growth of a multi-disciplinary team in Jacksonville, Florida, onsite.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Engineer of Record, assuming full ownership of electrical design work
- Lead initiatives as Project Engineer or Project Manager across aviation, aerospace, federal, healthcare, corporate, and science & technology sectors
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary design environment to deliver integrated engineering solutions
- Conduct quality control reviews and ensure technical excellence across projects
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers, shaping the next generation of talent
- Support team growth by participating in hiring and professional development activities
- Coordinate project deliverables and drive projects from concept through completion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing
- 5+ years of electrical design experience in building systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes
- Proven ability to lead design teams and manage projects or staff
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with building and site design projects
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
