Electrical Engineer

RS&H is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to own electrical designs, lead projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to the growth of a multi-disciplinary team in Jacksonville, Florida, onsite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record, assuming full ownership of electrical design work
• Lead initiatives as Project Engineer or Project Manager across aviation, aerospace, federal, healthcare, corporate, and science & technology sectors
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary design environment to deliver integrated engineering solutions
• Conduct quality control reviews and ensure technical excellence across projects
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers, shaping the next generation of talent
• Support team growth by participating in hiring and professional development activities
• Coordinate project deliverables and drive projects from concept through completion

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing
• 5+ years of electrical design experience in building systems
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage projects or staff
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with building and site design projects
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
