Electrical Engineer

GCC & Associates LLC is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead healthcare IT infrastructure projects in Huntington, West Virginia. This on-site role focuses on project management, technical quality, and cost and schedule control, while directing the inspection and quality assurance team to ensure successful delivery of complex facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree, at least six years of construction experience, and a Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHRM project construction management and decisive direction in regard to business, technical and project management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities.
• Oversee overall management in terms of technical quality, cost and schedule.
• Maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports.
• Lead the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.
• Understand and master the requirements of local state and federal jurisdictions and the requirements of each project.
• Demonstrate communication, language, and software skills with the ability to utilize a variety of programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying computer literacy.
• Read and interpret construction documents.
• Communicate effectively with project construction team members.
• Healthcare projects/facilities experience is preferred.
• Healthcare IT infrastructure construction project experience is preferred.
