Electrical Engineer II - Aerospace/Defense
Job Description
Electrical Engineer II focusing on aerospace and defense systems, on-site in Englewood, CO, with Revolution Technologies, LLC, at an hourly rate of USD 24–26.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate state-of-the-art aerospace and defense products and technologies.
- Engineer innovative products and services across the lifecycle.
- Develop and mature cutting-edge solutions from concept to deployment.
- Test and validate performance of advanced electronic systems.
- Certify new products and services to applicable requirements.
- Deploy solutions into operational platforms and environments.
- Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
- Conceptualize and design new products and processes spanning analog and digital circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.
Requirements
- Strong grounding in engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Skills
- Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL).
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, including model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
- Understanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME), including Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI).
- Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture.
- Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools.
