Engineer II
Job Description
Drive engineering delivery for heavy lift and transport projects by creating and maintaining technical documentation that supports safe, efficient execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver advanced engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects
- Create engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, and risk assessments
- Select, verify, and apply engineering methods and equipment independently to support safe and efficient project execution
- Support project execution and adapt engineering solutions when project requirements or site conditions change
- Advise Operations, Sales, and Project Management on engineering feasibility, technical risks, and optimal solutions
- Conduct route surveys and prepare route survey reports when required
- Review and maintain engineering documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and quality
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and project stakeholders
- Use both conventional methodologies and innovative approaches to address customer challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Professional-level experience with engineering operation practices and systems, heavy lift and transport equipment, and international codes and standards
- Experience developing advanced engineering solutions and technical documentation
- English proficiency at a professional level in verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling, detailing, and drafting
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and stakeholder management skills
