Entry-Level Bridge Engineer
Job Description
Entry-Level Bridge Engineer role with AECOM in Greenville, SC (hybrid), offering USD 60,000 - 80,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develops foundational analytic and design capabilities under supervision.
- Performs engineering design tasks, calculations, sketches, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
- Applies computer software as a tool to solve basic engineering problems.
- Contributes to innovative bridge designs using MicroStation and OpenBridge Designer.
- Builds familiarity with standard practices, techniques, and procedures under supervision.
- Researches alternative design options and supports the project team through white paper work and code reviews.
- Communicates and collaborates with the full design team and stakeholders.
- Assists in developing work products such as specifications, drawings, and illustrative graphics.
- Follows detailed instructions and prescribed technical approaches for design work.
- Develops detailed design elements and gains awareness of QMS procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
