Industrial Engineer

Infosys is hiring an Industrial Engineer for an engineering consultant role based in Wichita, KS (onsite). In this position, you will work closely with teams to capture requirements, contribute to design and iterative engineering cycles, validate solutions, and support technical integration, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements, then translate them into actionable specifications for the team.
• Participate in design meetings, develop initial design concepts, and help create design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques.
• Engage in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to apply feedback effectively.
• Develop and refine solution specifications and run validation activities, including simulations, to confirm solutions align with design specifications and criteria.
• Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and input from cross-functional partners to improve functionality.
• Carry out technical integration work to ensure system functionality, including identifying and resolving interoperability issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and assist in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions among team members.
