This full-time MEP Project Manager/Engineer role requires at least 3 years of design experience and is open to local NYC candidates. EIT or PE licenses are preferred but not required, and familiarity with AutoCAD is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from the initial design phase through final sign-off.
Direct coordination and communication with Architects, General Contractors, and other stakeholders during design and construction administration.
Conduct field surveys at job sites to capture measurements and perform TR inspections; travel to sites across the five boroughs is expected, with approximately 20% of duties spent off-site; a personal vehicle is preferred.
Create design and drafting work for Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Protection, while supervising and mentoring entry- and junior-level engineers.
Execute office administrative tasks such as printing and mailing as needed.
Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs during the construction phase and participate in field meetings.
Coordinate filings with the NYC Department of Buildings and other agencies such as FDNY and DEP.
Maintain strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience designing HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection for residential and commercial construction projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
EIT license preferred but not required.
PE license preferred but not required.
U.S. Citizenship.
Local NYC candidate.
