Job Description

OT and Defense Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Engineer role in Arlington, VA, onsite with Booz Allen Hamilton.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal technical authority on cybersecurity for Operational Technology and Defense Critical Infrastructure systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on securing industrial control systems, SCADA environments, and mission-critical defense assets.
  • Advise leadership and engineering teams on compliance, risk management, and advanced threat mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving OT-focused cyber threats, attack techniques, and adversary capabilities.
  • Lead technical and strategic initiatives to ensure resilience and security of defense-critical operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, risk management, cyber operations, governance, or compliance
  • 6+ years of experience securing OT, ICS, DCI, or SCADA systems
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures or Incident Response playbooks
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ certification

Work model

  • Remote: May require occasional in-person work at Booz Allen or customer facilities.
  • Hybrid: Regular presence at a Booz Allen facility with possible visits to customer sites as needed.
  • Onsite: Primarily performed at Booz Allen or customer facilities with on-site collaboration.

Clearance

  • Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation to determine eligibility for access to classified information
  • TS/SCI clearance is required

Compensation

  • Projected annual salary range: USD 112,800.00 – 257,000.00, depending on location, education, knowledge, skills, and experience
  • This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date
