Summary
Join our Indiana office as a Project Engineer focusing on roadway design and help expand our transportation design capabilities. We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, and proactive professional who delivers quality work and brings experience across the multifaceted design needs of highway and roadway projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform design calculations, geometric design, modeling, and plan production for roadway projects, including traffic control staging plans, signing, pavement markings, erosion control, quantity takeoffs, engineers estimates, and contract specifications.
- Execute tasks on transportation design projects and collaborate with various project teams.
- Prepare project reports and technical memoranda.
- Present and discuss project concepts and plans with clients and the public.
- Conduct quality control reviews.
- Participate in business development efforts and cultivate client relationships.
- Contribute to the growth of the transportation group.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of leading transportation project tasks.
- Familiarity with INDOT design preferred.
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads, Autodesk Civil 3D products.
- DOT and/or local municipal transportation design experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of transportation engineering design for urban and rural freeways.

Salary
Annual compensation range of $70,000.00 to $95,000.00, depending on experience.
Location
Fort Wayne, IN 46858. This is an on-site, in-person role.
