Responsibilities
- Design of horizontal and vertical alignments
- Development of roadway plans and profiles
- Incorporation of roadside evaluation elements
- Maintenance of traffic design
- Preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Development of technical reports
- Managing and mentoring staff
- Business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree (ABET accredited)
- 11 to 15 years of roadway design and project management experience in Pennsylvania
- Licensed as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer
- Experience with design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD
- Excellent reputation as an engineering professional
- Experience in business development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Exceptional communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
