Responsibilities

• Design of horizontal and vertical alignments
• Development of roadway plans and profiles
• Incorporation of roadside evaluation elements
• Maintenance of traffic design
• Preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Development of technical reports
• Managing and mentoring staff
• Business development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree (ABET accredited)
• 11 to 15 years of roadway design and project management experience in Pennsylvania
• Licensed as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer
• Experience with design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD
• Excellent reputation as an engineering professional
• Experience in business development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Exceptional communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
