Senior Electrical Engineer

Cinco International Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to lead electrical power design and project delivery for large water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Houston.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects across the full lifecycle, including design
• Provide pre-proposal support and assist with scope development
• Support bidding and provide construction phase services
• Act as the primary client point of contact, leading meetings and maintaining client relationships
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects
• Oversee detailed calculations and engineering analysis
• Oversee electrical drawings and technical specifications
• Oversee procurement and construction documents
• Lead design efforts of the design team
• Prepare and evaluate proposals, technical reports, and cost estimates
• Perform engineering analysis to support design, procurement, and construction
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, I&C) to support integrated design
• Lead QA/QC reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
• Support development of OPCC and quantity take-offs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• PE License (EIT is considered)
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in consulting or A&E/MEP environments
• Knowledge of NEC and applicable codes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Waste Water and Water Treatment
• Exposure to distributed energy systems and integration
• Familiarity with:
  • Arc flash and coordination studies
  • VFD systems and motor control design
  • SCADA/I&C coordination
• FAT/SAT testing
• Experience supporting public agencies and municipal clients
• CAD & Revit

Licenses / Certifications

• PE in Texas (preferred)

Location & Work Setup

• Houston, TX 77079 (hybrid remote)

Compensation

• $160,000 - $200,000 per year
