Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, development, and validation of high-performance electrical systems for engine-driven products, with a emphasis on power electronics and advanced control architectures. This role collaborates across electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the architecture and realization of sophisticated electrical systems for engine-driven platforms
- Develop solutions spanning power electronics, rotating magnetic components, and control subsystems
- Collaborate with electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to transition concepts into production-ready products
- Address complex technical challenges with a systems-oriented approach and practical debugging
- Design, test, validate, and document high-performance electrical architectures
- Steer project progress, own deliverables, and guide technical direction
- Contribute to future innovations by identifying technologies with patent potential
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4–8 years of experience in power electronics or electrical system design
- Strong expertise in switch-mode power supplies up to 35 kW
- Experience with high voltage/current systems up to 480 Vac, 1000 Vdc, and 1000 A
- Knowledge of converter topologies: buck, boost, flyback, forward, full-bridge, and half-bridge
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design and control systems
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and schematics
