Software Engineer

Wired360 Inc is hiring a Customer-facing Network Software Development Engineer on a 1-year contract to support customer engineering teams. The role spans work across data center, campus and Wi-Fi, wide area networks, and service providers, with an emphasis on making network deployments run more smoothly through automation and tailored software.

This position centers on building frameworks, shipping networking solutions, and creating tools that improve productivity for both internal and external collaborators during network deployment, migration, and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative customer frameworks using advanced network automation techniques
• Design and implement solutions that help customers deploy and operate advanced networking infrastructure
• Build software tools that support internal and external collaborators as they deploy, migrate, and operate networks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Python proficiency
• Expertise with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest)
• Understanding of IP networking and/or distributed systems
• Experience with Unix or Linux
• Comfortable working across all phases of the software development life cycle
• Applied understanding of software engineering principles
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
