Software Engineer 3 - (Full Stack, UI/UX, Python)

Software Engineer 3 with expertise in full stack development, UI/UX design, and Python is sought to support the RECON team within the CNO program. The role emphasizes delivering deployable solutions and end-to-end prototypes through collaboration with multiple product teams and mission stakeholders to rapidly iterate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer mission, gather user requirements, and swiftly translate them into workable solutions with the team.
• Own feature development across the full development lifecycle with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with diverse teams, systems, and technology stacks to integrate solutions.
• Design reliable and intuitive user interfaces and workflows.

Requirements

• Technology flexibility across the stack, including UI/UX, middleware/API, back-end, and DevOps, with a readiness to adopt needed technologies.
• Experience with at least one UI framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and services development.
• Experience building RESTful web applications using Spring Boot and Python.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres, SQLite, etc.).
• Working knowledge of GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.

SWE3 Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Salary and Location

• Location: Columbia, MD (onsite)
• Salary: USD 232,000 - 283,000 per year
• Note: The stated range is a likely band for this role and is not a guaranteed offer. Final compensation will reflect experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
