SR Hardware Engineer - Board Design (7+ years experience)
Job Description
Senior hardware engineer specializing in board design for telecommunications and embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of digital electronic circuitry for industrial, commercial, aerospace, and defense markets.
- Design and implement complex embedded circuits featuring DSPs and processors for real-time telecommunications applications.
- Collaborate with EMS and PCBA suppliers to align designs with manufacturing guidelines, achieving performance, reliability, and cost targets.
- Produce schematic diagrams.
- Develop fabrication and assembly documentation to support PCB manufacturing.
- Conduct design reviews, simulations, and validation to verify functionality and reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hardware engineering experience with a focus on board design.
- Strong proficiency in PCB layout and design.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
