Power3 Solutions welcomes a Senior Software Engineer to join an on site role in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will contribute to developing, maintaining, and enhancing sophisticated software systems within a large scale analytics and real time data environment. The position emphasizes hands on coding, debugging, testing, and collaborative system design, with opportunities to influence architecture and data processing approaches across teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, handling extremely large data sets, real time systems, and business management information systems, aligned to documented requirements.
- Work independently or as part of a team to deliver reliable software components.
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Resolve software problem reports and drive issue resolution.
- Apply software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provide input on system design, including hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, and use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development; synthesize requirements from system level to individual components.
- Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance requirements, debug existing software, fix defects, and offer recommendations to improve documentation and development process standards.
Requirements
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
