Job Description
Senior Software Engineer II at TixTrack leads cross functional initiatives on the Nliven platform and drives engineering excellence in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex initiatives from concept through delivery, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and engineers across multiple pods.
- Write clean, reusable, and secure code across the full technology stack with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Steer technical discussions with Product and Design to architect solutions that align with business goals and long term strategy.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architectures, API contracts, and roadmaps.
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers across teams, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and architectural patterns.
- Define, evolve, and champion coding standards, best practices, and design principles across the engineering organization.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and reliability issues and implement solutions that improve DORA metrics.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, making informed recommendations on adoption and integration into the platform.
- Serve as a technical mentor and force multiplier for engineers across multiple teams, fostering continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Drive architectural discussions and contribute to strategic roadmaps and platform evolution.
- Address highly complex challenges in performance, scalability, security, and system design across multiple domains.
- Partner with Product teams to design features from concept to production, including instrumentation, observability, and iterative improvement based on user feedback.
- Lead efforts to improve developer experience, including tooling, CI/CD optimization, infrastructure enhancements, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and cross functional teams to ensure engineering solutions deliver strong business value and user experience.
- Champion shipping in small, complete vertical slices using trunk based development and feature flags over large releases.
- Lead incident response efforts and foster a culture of accountability and continuous reliability improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Seven or more years of full stack software development in a SaaS or technology driven environment.
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Strong frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Solid back end and API experience with .NET Core.
- Deep understanding of SQL databases and data modeling best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong grounding in computer science concepts.

- Base annual salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
