Stationary Engineer
Job Description
Onsite Stationary Engineer position in Albany, NY with a weekend shift, paying USD 91 - 120 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure reliable operation
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical systems to minimize downtime
- Operate and service HVAC systems to maintain optimal climate control
- Monitor and adjust heating, ventilation, and air conditioning controls for efficiency
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to support maintenance work
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on boilers, chillers, pumps, and related equipment
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Stationary Engineer or in a comparable role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in industrial mechanics and maintenance
- Experience in electrical work and boiler operations
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair boilers
- Experience in field service maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills
