What you’ll do

  • Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers, platform users, and field-service personnel through tickets, phone, email, and other support channels.
  • Provide timely responses to questions about monitoring, production, metering, equipment communications, and platform data, and clearly explain technical findings.
  • Triage incoming cases by urgency and customer impact, investigate issues directly, and coordinate with team members when specialized support is required.
  • Monitor renewable-energy system data to identify abnormal, missing, delayed, or erroneous information.
  • Analyze historical production and metering trends, compare results against expected behavior, and investigate discrepancies related to communications, configuration, scaling, calculations, or data quality.
  • Troubleshoot connected devices including dataloggers, cellular modems, meters, inverters, trackers, weather stations, and other equipment.
  • Support device-to-datalogger communications and configurations involving Modbus and RS-485, TCP/IP connectivity, monitoring-platform device configuration, and data mapping.
  • Deliver remote technical support for field communication issues and support onsite reactive or service calls.
  • Review diagnostics, validate reported site conditions and completed work, determine next steps, and confirm that data and communications are restored after service activity.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver assigned customer and renewable-energy certificate reports.
  • Validate source data, investigate reporting exceptions, maintain reporting schedules, and coordinate corrections when data is incomplete or inconsistent.
  • Independently investigate customer-reported issues, document troubleshooting outcomes, identify recurring patterns, and escalate complex problems with sufficient diagnostic detail to Engineering, Product, Development, field personnel, or equipment vendors.
  • Reproduce significant platform issues, help document and prioritize technical defects, and support verification of calculations, alarms, dashboards, and reports when needed.
  • Translate technical findings into clear customer updates and internal next actions.
  • Collaborate across Customer Success, Engineering, Product, Development, field personnel, and equipment vendors to resolve issues and improve support and product processes.
  • Support trade shows and industry events by assisting with product demonstrations, answering technical questions, and engaging customers and prospects.
