Job Description

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a UI and mission planning software engineer to develop cross-platform tooling for missile performance and mission planning. The role centers on building Windows and Linux modules in C++ and providing C# interfaces, delivering intuitive UI and robust software in a hands-on, onsite environment in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements analysis to inform design and implementation
  • Design and development of C++ and C# software components within the Visual Studio environment
  • Creation of component test cases, procedures, and drivers to validate functionality
  • Integration of internally developed components with subcontractor components
  • Development and maintenance of UI software applications and web-based interfaces
  • Background in C/C++, GUI development, and Linux operating systems
  • Collaborative integration with sub-contractor developed C++ components
  • Possible CONUS travel to support customer, user, and integration events

Requirements

  • Experience with .NET/C# development
  • Experience developing in C++
  • Software architecture knowledge
  • Experience designing and implementing algorithms
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD workflows
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio with .NET Framework
  • Interim Secret Clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
