UI / Mission Planning Software Engineer / C++
Job Description
Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a UI and mission planning software engineer to develop cross-platform tooling for missile performance and mission planning. The role centers on building Windows and Linux modules in C++ and providing C# interfaces, delivering intuitive UI and robust software in a hands-on, onsite environment in Orlando, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis to inform design and implementation
- Design and development of C++ and C# software components within the Visual Studio environment
- Creation of component test cases, procedures, and drivers to validate functionality
- Integration of internally developed components with subcontractor components
- Development and maintenance of UI software applications and web-based interfaces
- Background in C/C++, GUI development, and Linux operating systems
- Collaborative integration with sub-contractor developed C++ components
- Possible CONUS travel to support customer, user, and integration events
Requirements
- Experience with .NET/C# development
- Experience developing in C++
- Software architecture knowledge
- Experience designing and implementing algorithms
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD workflows
- Proficiency in Visual Studio with .NET Framework
- Interim Secret Clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
