Broadband Plant Engineer

The Broadband Plant Engineer will plan and design outside plant fiber infrastructure to support Bartlett Electric Cooperative's growing broadband network, contributing to planning and construction of large-scale fiber projects. This full-time role offers compensation at USD 36 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Create staking sheets and construction drawings, plus project documentation using Geographic Information Systems tools
• Develop material inventories, cost estimates, and project timelines
• Coordinate permitting activities including rights-of-way, easements, and road crossings
• Collaborate with construction crews and contractors to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
• Conduct field staking and maintain accurate fiber asset records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of five years of directly related experience
