Compensation

Salary: USD 65,000 – USD 90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Assess and select electrical system components such as panelboards, switchgear, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, and lighting for industrial and municipal projects.
• Determine optimal electrical system configurations based on project needs.
• Evaluate instrumentation and control components, including sensors and control devices, and their configurations.
• Develop schematic, layout, and plan drawings for electrical and instrumentation and control systems.
• Prepare specifications for electrical and instrumentation and control systems.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Minimum experience: 2 years
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, including cloud-based tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
• Flexibility, adaptability, collaboration, independence, and solid interpersonal skills
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, work independently, manage time effectively, and learn new skills and software
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for creating electrical drawings such as one-lines, schematics, and layouts
• Experience designing or working with industrial electrical systems
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and ability to interpret and apply codes and standards
