Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Install EOS equipment at customer facilities to achieve full functionality per specifications.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance within scheduled timelines.
  • Lead or support technical projects including system upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to engineering development, prototyping, and validation activities at the ALM Lab in Temple when not deployed in the field.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management on project execution and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and status updates.
  • Support customer-specific engineering initiatives, including validation, testing, and optimization activities.
  • Assist in training, documentation development, and exhibition installations as part of projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all service and project documentation in accordance with EOS procedures.
  • Manage service tools and spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of company assets.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience servicing industrial equipment and/or engineering project environments.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology (required).
  • 3–5 years of SolidWorks experience (required).
  • Experience in additive manufacturing data preparation using MAGICS and/or SolidWorks.
  • Ability to support engineering projects, including documentation, design reviews, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electromechanical assemblies, and motion control systems.
  • Skilled at interpreting written, schematic, and diagram-based engineering instructions.
  • Proficiency with PC systems, Windows, networking basics, and MS Office tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance field service and project priorities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across field service, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
  • Professional communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including international travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
