Job Description

DriveTime Sales and Finance Company, LLC is building the next generation of its Evolve engineering platform by modernizing critical legacy green-screen applications running on IBM i / DB2 into reliable, cloud-hosted systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help rebuild accounting, cashiering, and operational workflows using modern full-stack, event-driven architecture with Angular and .NET.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular and .NET
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to understand existing processes and system dependencies
  • Convert mainframe-era workflows into clean, well-documented APIs and services
  • Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support integration between front-end and back-end systems
  • Create Angular single-page applications with a focus on usability and performance
  • Develop event-driven and workflow-oriented solutions, including asynchronous processing, reconciliation, and backfill scenarios
  • Write testable, maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices
  • Own engineering solutions end-to-end, proactively improving reliability, observability, and scalability
  • Help ensure applications meet security, performance, and compliance expectations
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to support continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with C# and .NET
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on experience building scalable, distributed systems
  • Strong experience developing APIs using RESTful and/or GraphQL approaches
  • Solid Angular experience for front-end development
  • Experience designing and working with event-driven architectures
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience writing unit tests and supporting high-quality, maintainable codebases
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, and Azure SQL
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Familiarity with workflow or process automation tools such as Pega BPM or Informatica
  • Experience with Snowflake, including querying and performance tuning
