Shoring and Forming Engineer

Summary

Goedecke is seeking an energetic, personable and technically capable professional to support our Shoring, Formwork, and Access group. The incumbent will design and supply formwork, shoring, and scaffold solutions (design and equipment) for a broad range of contractors, including our internal scaffold erection team, across a five-state territory. The role is based in St. Louis, Missouri 63147.

General Requirements & Skills

• An engineering degree and FE certification are required.
• Strong problem solving abilities are essential.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel is required; Revit experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction techniques and details.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Previous experience with formwork, shoring, and scaffold systems is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and printers.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role with hours from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. The position is in person at our St. Louis or Kansas City facilities.

Travel

Travel is rarely required for this position.
