Job Description

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for a Hybrid position in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on building scalable cloud-native applications, APIs and microservices, and modern user interfaces with Java backend and React frontend capabilities, including integrations with event-driven systems and Generative AI or LLM APIs.

Role Overview

You will design, develop, and continuously improve enterprise-grade solutions in a collaborative environment. The work includes cloud-native architecture, API development, responsive UI creation, and integrating business solutions with event-driven messaging and Generative AI/LLM services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Build responsive, modern user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and web services.
  • Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Integrate Generative AI and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini into business solutions.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Develop Python-based components for automation, services, and data processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, application reliability, performance optimization, and code quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and API Development.
  • Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI APIs and LLM integrations.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.

Compensation

USD 53,580 - 122,400 per year
