Capgemini is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for a Hybrid position in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on building scalable cloud-native applications, APIs and microservices, and modern user interfaces with Java backend and React frontend capabilities, including integrations with event-driven systems and Generative AI or LLM APIs.

Role Overview

You will design, develop, and continuously improve enterprise-grade solutions in a collaborative environment. The work includes cloud-native architecture, API development, responsive UI creation, and integrating business solutions with event-driven messaging and Generative AI/LLM services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Build responsive, modern user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and web services.
Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Integrate Generative AI and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini into business solutions.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.
Develop Python-based components for automation, services, and data processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Support CI/CD pipelines, application reliability, performance optimization, and code quality.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and API Development.
Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Generative AI APIs and LLM integrations.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.
