Associate Software Engineer

Software Warranty INC is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to help strengthen its application development and continuous improvement efforts. This onsite role in Boston, MA focuses on building and maintaining software, supporting quality through testing and debugging, and partnering with senior engineers to deliver reliable features and enhancements.

The position supports day-to-day engineering work across development, issue resolution, documentation, and performance improvements, with opportunities to contribute through code reviews and technical discussions.

Role overview

• Develop and maintain software applications

• Assist with testing, debugging, and issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals
• Familiarity with languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Internship, academic, or software project experience is a plus
