Job Description
Williams Companies is seeking an Engineer I/II/III in Houston, TX (hybrid). This role focuses on developing technical capability, applying company processes, and learning safety requirements while supporting engineering tasks and cross-team collaboration.
Summary
As an Engineer I/II/III, you will build knowledge of projects, technical assignments, and company processes that affect operations. The position emphasizes performing basic engineering tasks, using general business knowledge, and partnering with multiple teams while learning and applying applicable safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic engineering tasks and complete assigned technical assignments
- Apply general knowledge of business acquired through education or experience
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of safety requirements within the Company
- Develop an understanding of Company processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization and governing agencies, and apply that knowledge
- Prepare and deliver presentations to individuals and groups
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Engineer III (Required): Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry
- Engineer III (Preferred): PE License
- Engineer III (Preferred): Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- Engineer II (Required): Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry
- Engineer I (Required): Bachelor’s Degree in an ABET accredited college or university in an Engineering field
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
