IT Support Engineer

Kukui IT offers a part-time IT support role in Honolulu County, Hawaii with on-site installation and support of Windows based computers and networks. Responsibilities

• On-site installation and support of Microsoft based computers and networks
• Researching and troubleshooting a range of challenging technical issues
• Perform on-site and off-site software updates and maintenance, including end-user assistance and training
• Network management and maintenance, including backups and security updates
• Occasional support for tablets, iPhones and other smartphones
• System documentation
• Part-time hours with the potential to grow to a salaried position with benefits

Requirements

• Passion for technology
• Superb problem solving skills
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows 11, MS Office, PC networking and hardware repair
• MCP or CompTIA certifications are a plus
• Prior customer service experience
• Professional appearance and demeanor with good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a general problem solving and skills assessment test
• On-site role in Honolulu County, Hawaii; residence on Oahu is required
